ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Butylene glycol: is a solvent that has good antibacterial properties, acts as a humectant, draws water from the environment into the skin layers, enhances moisture levels and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Besides, it also help increase the absorption of other ingredients in the recipe.
Sodium hyaluronate: sodium salt of hyaluronic acid is essentially glycosaminoglycan, which is able to absorb water 1000 times the molecular weight and make thin films on the skin. This ingredient is usually found in the dermis and plays an important role in expressing the physiological – biochemical characteristics of cells, helping the skin to become elastic, soft and radiant.
Centella Asiatica Extract: (gotu kola extract) contains triterpenoid saponins (asiaticoside, centelloside, madecassoside), flavonoids (quercetin, rutin, kaempferol, catechin), amino acids, sugars and vitamins, that make good moisture supply effect and improve natural skin barrier. In addition, the extract reduces inflammation (inhibits cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase), neutralizes free radicals (flavonoids) and decreases the wrinkles (activates SMAD signal, enhances collagen type production).
Glycyrrhiza glabra root extract: (licorice root extract) stands out for its anti-inflammatory properties with two main components glycyrrhizin (water soluble) and glabridin (soluble in oil). Licorice root also contains polysaccharide and other polyphenols that contribute to antioxidant and antibacterial activity of P.acnes acne without causing resistance.
Vaccinium corymbosum fruit extract: (blueberry extract) contains tannins, anthocyanins, ellagic acid, resveratrol, carotenoids, vitamins A, C, E,… that has antioxidant properties, help reduce inflammation and antibacterial, promote regeneration of cells, improve skin tone and texture, neutralize harmful free radicals, increase collagen production and reduce wrinkles.
Ginkgo biloba leaf extract: contains high levels of ginkgolide, bilobalide, rutin, quercetin, kaempferol. The extract has antioxidant and soothing effects, enhances moisture levels and prevents ageing.
Rosa canina fruit oil: stands out for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. The oil is rich in vitamins A, D, E, C, essential fatty acids and flavonoids, that help enhance moisture, improve natural protective barrier, restore damaged skin structure and neutralize free radicals. Studies also show that rosehip oil has the ability to heal from deep within, prevent keloids and reduce hyperpigmentation in newly healed skin areas.
